Borosilicate Glass

High borosilicate glass is a special borosilicate glass mainly composed of silicon dioxide and boron trioxide. It has the characteristics of low expansion, high temperature resistance, high chemical stability, high hardness, and high transmittance. It is divided into borosilicate 2.6, borosilicate 3.3, and borosilicate 4.0

Borosilicate 2.6

Technical Parameters:

• Softening temperature: 880 ℃;
• Thermal shock resistance at 500 ℃;
• Thermal expansion coefficient: 2.6 × 10-6/K;
• Light transmittance of 90-92%;
• Alkali precipitation on glass surface<70 μ g/m2.

Borosilicate 3.3

• Transmittance: 92% (thickness ≤ 4mm) 91% (thickness ≥ 5mm)
