Curved Tempered Glass, also known as bent toughened glass, is a high-performance safety architectural glass that perfectly combines elegant curved aesthetics with superior structural stability. Manufactured through high-temperature thermal bending and rapid air quenching tempering technology, the float glass raw sheet is heated to a softening temperature, shaped into customized curved forms, and then tempered to form uniform compressive stress on the glass surface.
As a certified safety glass, it features high mechanical strength, excellent thermal stability and safe breaking performance. When broken, it crumbles into small obtuse granular fragments without sharp edges, effectively avoiding personal injury. It is the preferred curved glass material for modern architectural decoration and exterior engineering.
1. Superior Safety Performance
Comply with international safety standards including GB15763.2, EU EN12600 and US ASTM C1048. Different from ordinary glass, curved tempered glass breaks into blunt honeycomb-shaped particles instead of sharp shards, greatly reducing injury risks for commercial and public building applications.
2. High Mechanical Strength
The bending and impact strength is 4-5 times that of ordinary annealed glass. With strong wind pressure resistance and load-bearing capacity, it can adapt to high-rise building exterior walls and large-span curved building structures, effectively resisting external impact and natural weather erosion.
3. Excellent Thermal Stability
The glass can withstand sudden temperature changes of 200°C, with low thermal expansion rate and no spontaneous bursting caused by cold and hot alternation. It is suitable for long-term outdoor use in high temperature, low temperature and extreme weather environments.
4. Customized Curved Shapes
Supports various customized bending styles, including single curvature, double curvature, U-shape, L-shape and irregular free bending. Multiple radius options are available to meet diverse architectural design and decoration styling requirements.
5. Diversified Composite Processing
It can be further processed into curved insulated glass, curved laminated glass, Low-E coated curved glass, frosted and colored glazed curved glass. It integrates energy saving, heat insulation, sound insulation, explosion-proof and decorative functions to meet different engineering needs.
6. High Light Transmittance & Clear Vision
Adopts high-quality float glass raw materials with uniform curvature and natural optical reflection. Ultra-clear curved tempered glass has a light transmittance of up to 91.5%, with no obvious distortion, ensuring beautiful and smooth visual effects.
